PROBLEMS

All problems can be solved.

One Obstacle to Problem Solving

leave a comment »

People.

Most people either cannot or will not think.

They are as emotional as other animals.

Winning the lottery is easier than them getting a decision correct.

The more important the issue/problem, the worse their choice/decision.

And even if they know the best decision/choice, they will come up with some reason to do something else.

It takes a huge effort to convince people of the smart choice/decision.

It is easy to sell them on the stupid decision/choice.

Mice is a maze do so much better than people.

Government Is Your Enemy

leave a comment »

Government creates problems.

It rarely solves/resolves any problem/issue.

Look back over your life time.

Talk to your parents and grandparents.

Make a list of the issues/problems government has resolved/solved.

Make a similar list of problems/issues caused by government.

Look at major problems:

—  the economy

—  health epidemics

—  your finances

—  employment

—  world peace and stability

For individuals:

—  health; care and cost

—  money; cost of living and retirement

—  safety; crime, terrorism and war

These problems are not going away.

Instead, they are getting worse.

Much worse.

And what is your government doing?

Nothing for you.

Instead, it is

—  enriching politicians and government employees

—  providing for freeloaders

—  pandering to lowquals

But that is not the really big problem.

People continue to:

—  elect the same incompetent and corrupt politicians

—  do nothing to help themselves

—  expect the government to “fix it”

—  sit around whining about everything

Here is the question.

How is it working for them?

Greatest Danger to Humanity

leave a comment »

People!

People have too many bad traits:

—  Lazyiness

—  Addiction to entertainment

—  Wanting someone else to take care of them(mama and papa government)

—  Focusing on the trivial instead of serious issues

—  Lack of understanding of important matters

—  Refusing to work for a better future world

Humanity has peaked.

It is all downhill from here.

Unless people get serious about humanity’s future.

Focus on individual

—  personal responsibilities

—  rights

—  not on government provided benefits

—  no one is entitled to anything

—  self-reliance

—  improvement/growth

Most important reality:  segments of humanity must be left behind.

Allow them to die out.

Not everyone can be saved; nor should they.

Your Bias Makes You Stupid

leave a comment »

People all think of themselves as being rational.  They hear evidence and process it.  What is clear from decades of social psychological research is that people’s motivations get involved in their reasoning. Those shape and bias the way they process information.

It is not that people believe anything they want to believe. People still think and need rationale.  But the things they feel change what they count as evidence.

The concept of “motivated reasoning” refers to the tendency of people to rationalize on behalf of outcomes they want to see.

Something similar — motivated skepticism.

People tend to be a lot more skeptical of information they do not want to believe than information they do want to believe. People tend to just scoop up information they want to believe and then are much more skeptical and allocate their skepticism in a biased way.

This compounds over time, so people compile evidence that supports their view and critically dismiss that which does not, so that the evidence on their side eventually seems overwhelming.

Notice a multiplier effect: emotion.

The more passionate people are, the more morally convinced they are about the issue, the more they care about that in various other ways, the more biased they’re likely to be.

Thinking

leave a comment »

People hate to think.

They will do anything to avoid it.

Even when they do think, it is not clear thinking.

No wonder, they and their world is one big failure.

Then, they whine about everything.

Success and good result come from analysis and critical thinking.

Speed in Problem Solving

leave a comment »

Problems need to be solved quickly.

The longer a problem remains unsolved, the worse it gets.

This happens very quickly.

Problems can be solved fast.

Few are.

Why?

Evil and/or stupidity.

The usual.

Paying the Price

leave a comment »

There is a price to pay for everything you attain in your life. Many chatter about being willing to pay the price, but few will actually do so.

If you are serious about obtaining anything, you need to be prepared to pay the considerable price tag associated with it.  It doesn’t come free.

Whether it be wealth, health, business success, or even improving the nation(or just your local community); it comes with a price.

You need to do what it takes.

If you do not, then be a grown up and not a whiner.

Not complaining.
