American Dream

with one comment

What is the American dream?

Each individual has his own dream.

What is yours?

Whatever it is, it is tied to your financial situation.  The better off financially you are, the more options you have, and the more likely you will attain your dream.

The American economic crisis is continuing to bankrupt the lower and middle classes.  Poor people have no chance of a dream.  They are struggling to survive.  The crisis is slowly overtaking more and more Americans each day.  Unless something is done soon, they can kiss their dreams good bye.  Soon it will be your turn.

The United States once had one of the highest standards of living in the world.  Today, it is falling lower and lower.  There is no bottom.

What are you going to do?

The government is not going to change the direction of the American economy.

The United States and the rest of the world need a real problem solver.  The trouble is no one is even looking for one.

Guess what is going to happen?

RATIONALIZING

with 5 comments

From Wikipedia:

In psychology and logic, rationalization (or making excuses[1]) is a defense mechanism in which perceived controversial behaviors or feelings are explained in a rational or logical manner to avoid the true explanation. It often involves ad hoc hypothesizing.  Sometimes this occurs when we think we know ourselves better than we do. It is also an informal fallacy of reasoning.

What this really means; people lie to themselves and others to justify their actions, thoughts and beliefs.

All this does is prove their  STUPIDITY.

It is like a person with any compulsive behavior problem denying their problem.  Everyone knows the person has a problem, so the person just proves his stupidity.

Everyone who reads this will believe that this is not them.  The truth; it is everyone who thinks this is not them.

Refusing to admit one’s faults is a character flaw.  It is a flaw that prevents the solution of problems/issues.

This is almost everyone.  So, admit it and become a better person.

THE ECONOMY

leave a comment »

World economies keep sinking.  This a big and important problem.  It is the greatest impact issue today.  No nation or individual is safe.

Politicians and individual argue about what should be done.  People rant, whine and cry about the state of the economy.  Everyone seems to agree that something needs to be done.

The real problem is that no one, especially politicians and economist, have any intelligent idea on how to improve the economy.

No jobs, high prices, lack of health care and other sub-issues are destroying the standard of living for a significant amount of the world population.

It comes down to two issues.

Accepting the solution to the problem, but it is not the one people want.  Jobs are created, prices are brought under control, health care is available, but not the way people want.

Someone other than politicians or economists have a solution.  Both groups become totally unimportant.  Peoples’ elected representative become no longer matter.

People get what they deserve, not what they want.

So, here is the real question.  Do you want the economic problem solved?

If so, are you willing to pay the price for the solution?  Are you willing to accept a solution you do not like in order for people to have jobs?  Are you willing to give control over the economy to someone other than politicians and economists, so people can have an affordable quality of life?

It should be an easy choice.  But for some reason, people would rather have humanity suffer.

It maybe that people continue to worship false hope:  like the man who has gangrene and needs to have his foot amputated in order to save his leg.  He refuses.  Then he needs to have his leg amputated to save his life.  He say no again.  Now he is dead.

A game of chicken, where everyone dies.

Still people refuse to believe.  Well, wait until next year, when it gets even worse.

Afraid of Pain

with one comment

No one likes pain.

To solve any problem:

-action is required

-change is necessary

-intelligence must be applied

-fear of change must be overcome

-accept the pain that comes with the solution

This pain may only be emotional and/or mental.  This fear of pain(also/aka the fear of the unknown) keeps people form making progress with their problems.

Successful people accept the change, uncertainly and discomfort(pain) that progress entails.

The fear of pain is a major reason problems do not get solved or progress made.

Sometimes there is real pain; like the pain from surgery to improve ones health.  The surgery was necessary and it is better than the condition it fixes.  People have died from refusing to have necessary surgery.

The more serious the problem; the more change and the more pain involved.

Change and pain are the price of improvement and solving of problems.

Do not let this fear of pain stop you from solving your problems.

Why has no one requested assistance?

leave a comment »

Assistance was offered in previous posts.  No one has requested assistance.

With the huge number of problems on all level in the world, why has no requested assistance?

This is the first problem to be solved.

Why has no one requested assistance?

WHY?

Some possible reasons:

-Having to pay for a solution.  If you are saved $100, why not pay $40 or $50 for a solution?

-They do not believe  assistance is available.  Are they so sure our providers can not help them?

-They have given up all hope.  Just a spark should be enough to get people thinking about the possibility of a solution.

-Afraid of being blamed for the problem.  Is avoiding blame so important that they will not try for a solution?

HELP!  HELP!  HELP!

Each reader of this posted is asked to make a comment.

Help make this work.  What is there to lose?

This blog should be like a chain letter.  Every reader would pass it on to ten friends, and they to ten friends, and so on.

Why not?

As problem after problem is solved, the world will become a better place.  Humanity will evolve.

Again, comments/assistance is being requested.

So, why not?

Problem Solving and Ego

leave a comment »

Whenever someone has a problem, they look for a solution.  Sometimes someone else puts forth a solution, which is quickly rejected.  It was not because the solutions would not work; it was because the solution was not liked.

People want to solve their problems, but they want to solve them their way.

It is their ego in charge.

This is the real problem; not the original problem.  EGO.

Whenever a person’s ego is in charge, things will go wrong or not work.  Wrong decisions will be made.  Things will get worse not better.

So, for problems to be solved, ego has to be kept in check.

This is true for organizations and groups as well.

It is a major factor in why the world is in such a mess.

Is your ego keeping you from solving your problems?
