Procrastination

leave a comment »

Procrastination is putting things off which leads to never getting anything important done.

We talked with a young lady about her goal.

She said, “That makes a lot of sense. I’m going to start that today.”

We knew — immediately and with certainty — that she would succeed. Why? Simply because she said “today.”

People who put off their promises, even for 24 hours, seldom succeed. This young lady is different. She has a serious, almost burning desire to achieve her goal, and she wasn’t going to wait one more day to get started.

Are you a procrastinator or you going to start today?

There are lots of problems in the world that are keeping you and your family from happiness.

You are not going to solve/resolve the problems/issues that affect you.  If you could you, you would have done so.

Our blogs have solutions.

If you ignore these resources, you have only yourself to blame.

Decision Making Reality

leave a comment »

Imagine if we lived in a world where you could get a promotion at work just by changing the color of your shirt. Or you could have more friends simply by using paper bags instead of plastic.

I know, it sounds completely absurd.

BUT THAT IS HOW PEOPLE REALLY MAKE DECISIONS.

Problem: The Economy

leave a comment »

A key problem facing the world is what to do about the world economy.

This problem includes the economies of all nations.

The basics of the problem:

-lack of job creation

-bankrupt nations, including cities and states

-large scale poverty

Politicians and economists keep trying the same things over and over again, with the same results: the economy does not improve, failure after failure.

As always, the problem is easy to solve; but not the way anyone wants:  the age old conundrum; my way or success,  cannot have both.

The Public’s View Of Government

leave a comment »

A crisis environment in which the public demands action from the government and Washington responds by earmarking vast amounts of funds to address the problem

THIS ACTION BY THE GOVERNMENT DOES VERY LITTLE IN SOLVING THE CRISIS OR PREVENTING ANOTHER FROM HAPPENING.  IT IS INTELLIGENCE, BRAINS THAT SOLVE PROBLEMS, NOT MONEY.  SOLVING A PROBLEM IS NOT ABOUT MAKING PEOPLE FEEL WARM AND FUZZY.

The public persists in the stupidity of relying on the government(politicians) to take care of them from cradle to grave.  And it will.  It will enslave them, just like in any third world pest hole.

The government is made up of politicians, economists and workers who do little to nothing for high pay and great benefits.  None of them care about YOU.  All of them are incompetent, or they would not be working for the government.

We know; you will never believe the truth about people who work for the government:  that is the basis of a real problem.

The problem is easily solved:  people must want it solved and be willing to accept the directions of someone more intelligent than themselves.

Solutions: Conventional Vs Superior

leave a comment »

When you ponder issues that cause you frustration and disappointment, recognize that it is self-delusive to address them only on a superficial level. Don’t be afraid to go deep. Be intellectually honest with yourself by searching for underlying causes.

Hint: Such causes almost always require long-term solutions. The longer a problem has been entrenched, the longer it will take to implement a permanent solution. Which means you must be prepared to expend a great deal of time and effort to eradicate it.

Forget about quick fixes and conventional wisdom offered by “experts.” Drastic situations call for drastic solutions. I’ll take a drastic solution every time over a superficial one that only creates the illusion of well-being for a brief period.

This applies even more so to the problems that affect a nation or the world.

Politicians only put forth superficial, quick fix, conventional solutions.  These solutions will not solve the complex problems that have plagued the nation for generations.

Citizens keep believing the nonsense politicians utter over and over again.

Why does anyone think any problems/issues will be solved/resolved?

Crazy fools!

Want a better life, a better world?

Everyday, we create solutions to some of the most difficult problems.
